View Full Version : Unreal Tournament help, please!

Hi, all - I just installed Unreal Tournament (so I could (download and) play Thievery:D), but, after installing it, and downloading the latest patch (so I could use MP), when I tried installing the patch, this is the error message I got:

"The expected version of Unreal Tournament file system\botpack.u was not found on the CD-ROM drive.

Please verify that the proper CD is in the drive."


I got this game with my sound card, so I don't really know anything about it. PLEASE help me!! :)

it is probably the patch...itz a nice game, and i have played it alot...but ive never had that problem...or the patch...

One of two possibilities here.....

A) Try Re-installing ;)

B) You got screwed over :(

Hmm. You DID do the full install didnt you? Make sure you have done the full install!

I had this problem with the full retail version, too.

Never did get round to resolving it.....

Thanks, everyone - I re-installed last night, with no luck. :( I'll go over to the UT forums - thanks @M! :)
