Hi All
I am now playing The Metal Age and have come a cropper! I stupidly threw away my wax impression of the key and cannot make another - the original one disappears as if it has been trodden into the ground and therefore cannot be picked up. Any suggestions please?

I hope you have a SAVE that is before you made the mold. If not you have to START OVER if you want to complete the mission.
Or you can SKIP the mission, although I would replay the mission.
In the mission CTRL>ALT>SHIFT>END from left to right on the keyboard will skip to the end of a mission.

Hi Blackman
Thanks for the reply. Yes I do have a save but it is so far back...still if I have to go back and redo it then so be it. I had a feeling that would be the case!!
Many thanks

just replay the mission and you'd be fine.:)

Just a gentle reminder...use your regular save hole's often as well as your QS more often :) Just so you know, you can overwrite your save slot as you don't/won't have enough for all levels anyway. I often alternate between two so as to make sure I have one more updated to my current QS and when I feel comfortable with my progress, I'll then use the other so one will be like a backup if necessary to go back a little further in the game without going too far back if I don't really like my current situation, etc. I'm sure you understand what I'm saying but ppl do forget (as I have as well) to do just that...save, save, save :D But I don't redo that much as I'm not a ghost player so I take my hits some and if not too bad...continue onward ;) Ta and Good Hunting!

Hi
Have re-worked my way through - a lot easier than first time - and am now at the last hurdle, I think/hope!! That'll teach me to stop dropping stuff!
Thanks both

YW...but don't think that you'll not still need to drop some things from time to time as your pocket will get too filled up with stuff that will make it more time consuming to try and filter through, even with the help of your wheel (that's what I've got my items binded to). Some ppl use it for weapons, but I use my tab key for that plus the normal hot keys, etc. whatever your comfortable with :) As you go through, you'll get a better feel for what's important to maybe hang onto and what's discardable. ;) Ta and Good Hunting!
