Hello,
I recently bought the ful version of Praetorians and have had an absolute blast the last few weeks. Unfortunately, the game seems to be acting up in the same manner as the demos did with the graphics acting goofy. Here is a screenshot of the Main Menu as soon as I get into the game and select Single Player. I have made sure to update Win2K and I patched the game to 1.04.
Win2K Pro
AMD Athalon +2400
768MB RAM
GeForce 4 AGP 8X w/ 128MB RAM

If anyone has any advice, please let me know! :)

How odd. I just cleared my cache and it works for me.
It looks almost like the language is not being displayed correctly, like if you view a Japanese or Chinese webpage without installing the proper fonts so that you only see a symbol that corresponds to each letter, if that makes sense.
For instance, 'Ã' is repeated for the letter 'R' in 'Singleplayer' and 'Multiplayer' in the Main Menu.
I hope I did not make that more confusing then it really is. :p

P.S.: I can transfer a copy of the image via AIM if need-be.
The link of the image works...
Looks pretty weird. Do you have perhaps installed Praetorians (full) in the same folder as the demo?

No, I uninstalled both demos, Single-Player and Multi-Player, before installing the full version.
I removed the "www." and now it does work for me:

I see all your posts are about problems, really sucks, I'm sorry for you!! I think you should download the latest graphics drivers.
Try this link for that:
http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/56.72/56.72_winxp2k_english_whql.exe
After installing restart the pc and pray everything works fine. :)

I tried an NVidia patch from Microsoft.com and it seems to be working for now, though the game works perfectly on some days and on others it will refuse to work, even though the machine settings have not been changed. lol
Oh, and I believe that I have the drivers you pointed out installed already. Thank you for the advice, though. :D

It seems more video issues are popping up. Within minutes of my loading a saved game, the little people on the screen turn into odd shapes as shown here:

This is what the Main Menu looks like afterwards:

Does anyone have any advice? :)

Maybe the drivers from Microsoft.com are outdated?

Try to install the old drv.for graphic card. The force ware drv. they have a bug.I instaled 41.09 versions and it's work perfectly.I have the same problem before, but i uninstall the drv.force ware and the problem disappears.
PS.-if you uninstall the drv.-go to the control panel-add-remove program/nvidia display drv.Restart windows is safe mode, enter on regedit on command promp and delete all key the nvidia. Now restart the computer, and then install the new drv.
