Why is there two Garretts?

Has anyone noticed that during the movies, Garrett looks different? Why is that? In one, he has a red eye, clean face, the other, his eye is green with a scar. Obviously there was two teams doing the cinemegraphics. Bad oversight.

it has been posted somehwere else, maybe this forum maybe ttlg...can't recall where but i remember (more or less) an answer (it is someone else's -pm me to add credit):

they first made tha cinematic kai afterwards decided to add an artistic "brush" (scar). Both "Garetts" are ok to the story, his eye was removed by Victoria in t1, she could have made a scar...anyway you may also download a different skin which shows Garett without his scar (in game).
(can't recall the website either...can't recall anything at last...if i did i would have passed the exam on solid state physics 1 an hour ago...how frustrating:/ )
