Here's a cool bug. If you read closely about the special items in the keeper compound mission, you'll find that one of the special items is a gold set of scales, another is a book (Ibinis, I think) and a second book (the Bafford Chronicles). Spoilers, be warned. Here's the weird part, in the mission, you can find not one, but THREE copies of the first book I mentioned, and NO copy of the Bafford Chronicles. I mention this because one of the three books is in the dining hall, like a parchment says. "But three of the same book, how?" Ah, this is the fun part. If you pass the keeper council during the meeting, before they decide yes or no on whether to move the books (it's just that one book) you can steal it both at the bottom of the library AND in the keeper writing room located upstairs.
This is the only mission where I've found it possible to steal more than the three required special items in one mission. This also gives you the possibility of aquiring more than 100% of the loot, though I'm still fishing around for the last few pieces (even with that, I can only get to 94%.)
