What do I do next in Living Quarters?

I just finished the part where I pulled the lever in the sea bottom looking thing. I almost became eel chow, and I went through this opening back where I came from! Is there anoth door I have to go through or what?

I think there must be another opening there, go back in the water and look around. Hope this helps :)

There is another opening, but the lever only opens that one trapdoor. I'm confused. Definitely.

When the level begins swim straight forward and look for the opening on the left. There should be a lever on the metallic wall that opens a trap door - go through it once you open it and you should be good to go! ;)
