Pavelock Prison

Wondering what ways there are to get into pavelock prison.
I've found one way, but it's pretty stupid. Before lowering the Canal water level, jump through the grating in pagan land.
Garrett seems to die, but a distorted voice says something about pavelock, then he wakes up inside.
Wonder why Garrett can get arrested after he drowns, but not if he's 'killed' in the street?


Just before the Museum mission i get a note about Forgeries to replace the stolen items. I had no idea where this shop was, so I didnt get them, but i completed the mission anyway. What will change if I load my game and get the forgeries this time?

In the Hag's lair, just before the cutscene, i have to climb up to a balcony. I did this by climbing 'through' an overhanging piece of stone. Normally Garrett cant climb through things like that, but I couldnt find any other way to get up there.

1. The shop that has the items is in Old Quarter. You'll need about 1500 to buy them. The shop also sells a map, but you probably don't need it. Right now, I am standing in StoneMarket holding a sign, "Will Steal For Cash", so I can raise enough funds to buy those items for the Museum mission.

2. The Hag Lair has deceptive wall decor that you can climb through to get on the balcony over-looking the BIG stone guy. That's the only way to get up there. It took me ages to figure that out.

Not true:

In Gamall's room, there's a bunch of books lined up on her desk. Frob the book farthest to the left, and a passage opens beside you that'll take you up to the balcony.
