- ability to shoot thru corners like msg or splinter cell
- bring back ability to purchase equipment with cash
- ability to modify equpment with cash like silencers, laser sights , different types of ammo
- ability to use makeup and a wig that can be purchased for more realism so that 47 wouldnt stand out from the crowd. maybe a disguise kit that is bought before the mission. without this kit guards are more suspicious of 47.
- better enemy AI
- ability to scale reachable walls
- better graphics AA + Aniso and smart use of shaders -
- ability to put bodies in closets ala MSG or in gargage dumps
- a bonus mission like if you made a hit on someone but didnt go for a fatal kill like a headshot or choke, somehow the guy survived and now has his sights on you or maybe you can finish the job - have this after the whole game is finished and part of the story after the credits have finished rolling - this would be totally cool and unexpected and sort of a bonus for hitman fans.

I have only one request.
Hitman cooperative. You can choose from a variety of assassin archetypes (perhaps even characters that were in the other hitman games). The levels would be semi-random (much like the dungeon's in Diablo and Diablo 2). This would be free, multiplayer, not MMORPG stuff.
Just a thought, I remember the old "Spy VS Spy", and it seems like cooperative vs AI is dying.

the thing that i want to see is - fighting hitman, can`t he use his hands or foots instead of stayng and watching till enemy kills you, when you don`t have any gun ..
or he`s so weak ? :( :confused:
*edit* and 2nd thing .. yea i agree that hitman should be a bit cooperative. someone could help him in one or few missions .. that would be nice :rolleyes:

I would suggest the ability to create a player profile so that saved games and stats can be kept together for each individual player. This way each player will know which games they had saved and not get them confused with the saved games of other players.
I would also suggest the addition of a silenced sniper rifle and/or silenced assault rifle that can be disassembled and concealed when not in use and then reassembled when needed.

I've been having a chat with ex players of Hitman: Contracts, and except for the parodies on the flashbacks on hitman 4, the story on its own can be quite annoying.
Hitman RPG
47 is walking out of the Airport through the Main Lobby, talking to himself.
"A new contract, this time its personal...whoever has been setting up these traps and corrupting the agencies friends wants to get to me at every price"
As 47 walks out of the front door, past some security guards he signals for a taxi and gets in.
"Generic Hotel"
And as the taxi drives off 47 opens the briefcase and inspects the merchandise...
Good Intro, will mostly look like what the lads at Io have planned, but I suggest a different type of game play.
As the title suggested, an RPG.
Lets say..that Mr. 47 arrived in New York or any other large city, and he heads for a hotel to plan his hit on the target contracted by Dianna personally.
Instead of the usual load mission and the meetings/key scenes already happening or happening at a later interval. he has a week to complete the given hit, and has the whole city to extract information out of.
Bars, clubs and perhaps even corporate facilities to seek out information and weak spots on the given target ( ie. trusted bodyguards or secretaries with usual information)
After obtaining the where-abouts of his target, the player can set up his own assasination, he can scout ahead a few days of the intended hit to find a good sniper location, or hide equipment at specific location of a building for later pickup, or even pre rigging a vehicle with explosives to take out the target cleaner then ever.
Hong Kong, Rotterdam, Paris any major city can do for this specific game design.
Any feedback?

You obviously did not read the entire post.
If you did, the "plays the game for you" does not apply to this design.

I like the idea but 1 mission would become like 9 hours lol
it does make it more realistic though.
my recommandations for Hitman 4:
-Better AI
-No "ice skating" when you walk
-better graphics
-better lip snytching(sp?) during gameplay.
-shoot at corners (ala Splinter cell)
-Hide bodies in closets, under beds,....
-you can actually interact with the cash you get. for example, a certian hit will get you 10 000$. If you do it in Silent assassin, you get all the money. If you do it in Mass murderer, you get only a very small portion. With the money, you can modify equipment,....(important stuff to do) that way people will kinda have to play the game the best they could to get the most money. When they finish, they go in and have fun with Mass Murderer.
-a Realistic difficulty setting in witch, amongst other things, you see 47's entire animation when he changes close.
-If you leave a gun on the floor, other people MUST be able to see it.

I don't see how you can relate this to RPG's "static gameplay" theirs always a side that you can choose to do, (Side quests etc)
But my "main" quest is able to be performed by tens of different assasination routes.
for example in hitman contracts (or any other hitman game) you can't always kill your target with a sniper rifle, either its not in your starting gear, or there are no given locations or time frames to perform it.
you play your OWN game, you can choose to play what ever kind of playstyle you want, you can assasinate everyone of your targets by using the fibrewire if you want, granted its harder but the reward is higher.
or, you can buy a nice sniper case and a W200 to scout out for a potential hit area, (ie. a square he has to move over, or perhaps the few seconds he enters his limo to move from one area to another) and set up a good location to perform the shot from (rooftops, "borrowed" appartments, or perhaps a hotel room)
the game doesn't force you to perform the GAME way of play, it just asks you to do the hit, you can perform how.
I know this is already implemented in the previous hitman game, but this specific game design can greatly improve its replay-ability
(we all know that the game design is one of the deciding factors in Hitman, if you wanna shoot opponents with the ragdoll physics engine, you can play Max Payne or PainKiller, but this is a *tad* different)

I like quality of the image in Hitman 3 and i think that it's would be not bad if eidos will anounced level packs when we are waiting for hitman4. Or it's can be made in hitman4.
So... It's will be fun if in h4 bald could to saw victims and to package them on bags=); i'd like if he can to carry with itself spare clothes; more exotic weapon will be in game; but not like AK74 with "device of silent shooting" - i think it is impossible..
Game will be more realistic if on the clothes will be sparks of blood;
if AI would understand that such a pool of blood on a floor or bloody traces on a wall... So hitman will In time put on the shot part of a body a package, to carry with himself a bast may wipe up in time IT or even the same spare himself which he as though would carry with himself...
But not so mutch.. Differently bald will turn in the yard keeper.
Now about sniper rifles: sight will look better if they will zooming like the "field-glass"(i'm sorry i don't know how is it wrigting in English). Rather not bad would be may creep and be estimated killed=)
And will be good possibility to look at the map when hitman are preparing for the task( how it was in H2SA).
About other here it is already written, don't want to repeat
P.S. In h3, in mission where is Boris, (and in "Bjarkov's bomb" mission) russian seamens are speaking russian wery well, and i'm was glad for that!

if you're talkin about the "Deadly Cargo" mission, boris is on the top level of the ship.
as for maps, you dont have a briefing (there's an ingame "briefing" but its not much of a briefing if its during the game) so there's no need for a map.

I'm not sure if i like the whole gangs, bombs and save the world way that Contrats did, i though contract would mean that you go the a series of not connected levels, or that you killed random indiscriminate people, who some one else wanted dead
i feel (but every1 can and will disagree) that the games should be based away from gangs, bombs and save the world? or is that the kind of agency he works for, the type who only kill ganglord kidnappers etc?

FredtheHobo: i'm sorry, I badly know English - i haven't ask, i mean that mission ("Deadly Cargo") but realy didn't know what is name of that. I mean it make me pleasant, that seamens in that
mission talk russian wery well. Eidos and IOI take care about realism. But i can't understand why they didn't make russian briefing - in our country many people like hitman and i never seen good translation. So in all parts. And i think that is bad not only for players, but for IOI too, because legal copy not russian and it is necessary to buy illegal, but translated to russian=(( it is so hard to understand what i will do in different mission for example "Slaying a Dragon"...). I has finished that game but translation, which i have met was awful... Especialy translatin of names of weapons. So i need help: what is the last rifle name( which can be carried away from last mission). By the way it can be put in a case, like Walther Automatic 2000.

the sniper rifle in the last level is called the PGM. (which is the french made PGM mini-Hecate) and you can put of the rifles into a case. (at least i think so)

Alright, here's my input. I like the 3rd person view and the graphics are nice but could be improved slightly. I agree with the guy who said we need to see him change into clothes, doesn't need to be derogatory but it will improve realism. Also, It needs MORE missions with a variety of ways to kill people....drowning, suffocation, maybe even torture. I'm sick of missions that are...sniper kill...poison...bomb...sniper kill..etc. Spice it up. Also, co-op sounds great too. Get another assassin, maybe the one from Lee Hong Assination who said "maybe we can meet again under more understandable circumstances" or whatever. And let us play as him. More weapons as well. Don't make it too unrealistic but make it real. Also, make the bad guy in this one a f-ing Nazi I miss killing those bastards.

The idea of seeing hitman change into clothes is intriguing, but i think an even greater step towards realisim is necessary. The hitman should be able to change into women's clothes and imitate a female, maybe to lure the guards away with seduction? sort of like a drag option.

add the ability to jump and roll. add the backward jump ability.
add a multiple zoom in and out camera. add in the ability to converse and to buy and stock up inventory with money . add in the ability to upgrade weapons to a higher level.
or probably drop the idea of hitman 4 and start afresh with something new. hmm from the idea of a hitman to a gladiator!!!

The only way I could see them making Hitman 4 online is where one person gets to be 47 going after an AI target and everyone else is the targets bodyguard or a police or swat team member trying to stop you the only problem with this is that everyone playing would know what 47 looks like even if he's in disguise unless it was made where you can make you own Hitman and make him how you wanted fat, slim, hair long short black white whatever
Anyway on with my HM 4 wants
1. I think 47 should be able to put his back against the wall and be able to spring out shoot people and then snap back behind the wall again
2. Be able to tie people up
3. have some kind of system where if you shoot out all the lights people won't be able to find you as easy and where loud noise will give your hiding spot away (which yes I know that would be alot like Splinter cell but I still think it would be good)
4. Be able to punch people or some kind of hand to hand skills
5. have almost everything in the level be able to be picked up, moved, stolen, broken, shot up ect…
6. If you dress lets say as a janitor have it be that you can use a mop or broom to give it more real feel to it
7. Be able to go all over the level not just certain places
8. Be able to maybe break into a gun shop and steal some weapons
9. Where if a door is made of wood your gun will shoot through it
10. Where if you shoot the walls or a car the bullet holes don’t disappear after awhile
11. On the same note as #5. If you shoot up a car have where it will blow up after a while also where if a door is boarded up where if you have an axe or something you can break in down
12. where you can cary mixed guns at one time (so instead of always two ballers maybe one baller and the other a revolver
13. And then theres the typical stuff like better graphics, sound, music, AI, and bigger longer and a lot more levels

OK, I'm happy with the graphics on Contracts, gameplay wise though....
1. be able to pistol whip people
2. be able to tie up people
3. be able to conceal bodies
4. have the AI to suspect others besides 47
5. better dialogue with AI characters, more interactive
I want the game to behave more realistically, looks are great for 20 minutes and then you take them for granted, good game play stays with you for the duration of the game.

You already can do that bro. Just come close to the person, and yo crosshairs dissapear. Press 'fire' and they get whipped.
