Loading Error, SO frustrating

I just got Deus Ex, istalled it without a hitch, works nicely.

But here's the problem, for the first half hour, the loads work great, but then I go into a load screen, get a weird message and get kicked out of the game, this keeps happening, even when I patch the game.

Here's the error message:

"Ion Launcher: ERROR: Timed out waiting for game to terminate, panic ensuses."

After that message I'm kicked out.

I get the same error sometimes and also It doesn't show the loading screen it just shows a black screen. Could anyone help us! :confused:

If you've the American version of the game, try the 1.2 patch. If you've the European version, try the fix linked from the SecuRom thread at the top of the fourm.

I have the 1.2 patch. I have only gotten this error only when I upgraded to the 1.2 patch. The loading screen use to show up. now it just loads from the black screen and then goes to the game. :(
