ARGH! Save corrupted!

Goddarrnit! I was almost done with the Museum mission, almost done with the game, and my save game gets corrupted! Whenever i try to load the game, I CTD. Is there anything I can do? Is there a patch, or a save game fix, or something? I don't want to have to start over again.

Same thing here - I just finished the bit with the Keepers and the library and I'm headed towards the Docks district. I saved on the way there (I saved over the other saves, stupidly), and now the game quits whenever I try to load the save. The game works; I can start a new game so it's not graphic or sound. glad to know I'm not alone, I would rather not restart...

I've had that happen a few times. I quicksave often! and to be on the safe side, a regular save every time I go thru a loadpoint. If the quicksave goes corrupt, I don't have to go back too far....

Yeah, the actual GAME is fine, its just my only save is now corrupted. How much further did I have do go after the museum? Was that the last mission?

How many missions are there total?

The same happened to me. I've alreadye been to Gamall's lair got everything from there, and sudennly I see that my save games are useless. D**n! Is there anybody who would have a save right after you get the "destroy Gamall's statues ability"?

got the same problem in the museum, now my quicksave loads and instead of starting the game, it crashes and goes to my desktop. My last regular saved game is way behind and im not sure if i want to replay it all over again.

Do you know if there are saved games somewhere or if this is a bug that will be patched soon?

I'm having the same type of problem. I just started the mission to get the chalice from the Hammer Church, and saved the game but not a quicksave. I saved and when I tried to get back in, crashed to the desktop. Then when I reloaded the game all of my most recent saved games were missing. My last save was the beginning of the Pagan mission, so now I apparently have to play that whole misson over again. Anyone know anything about this as this is the first problem I've had with the game. Thanks.

I tried to find saved games on the internet, but i couldn't, maybe someone knows of a site that has'em....

actually, Mr Wynd has some saved games, but the last one he has is right before the cradle. It's written on his site that the next levels will soon be avilable.

and if the ion file could be DLed, then that'd be greeeat. but as it stands, there is no ion file to dl./
