The Soul Reaver

Where did Kain get back the soul reaver in defiance if Raziel already have it....? wasen't the reaver destroyed when kain and raziel battled and when raziel took it, it repaird? I am a newbie and I think the history of The Legacy of kain is very good (wish there was a book of this good story)

Remember back to SR2. At the end when the reaver was trying to consume Raziel, Kain grabbed the blade to keep Raziel from entering it. After that, Raziel drifted into the spectral plane while Kain was left with the reaver.

Oh, well I have never played Soul Reaver 2, I can't find it out here in sweden..... I was so ticked when raziel took the sword =P I like Kain more hehe, but when I played Defiance and Kain got the reaver I was so happy =P
