*Spoiler* Pagan altars

Im looking for the altars to make the sarcrifices, Im kinda confused on whether its an area I have to zone into, or if its in the same area that the training grounds and hammer factory are in. Can anyone give me a brief description of what the alters look like, I think I might be walkin right by em without knowing it.

After having knocked out/killed the Pagan High Priest and colleced the artifacts/loot in her room exit through the only other way there is besides the one you just came from. There will be Pagans controlling the upper and lower levels but they are quickly taken care of.
After this follow the path taken by the pagan who used to patrol the lower level. You'll get to a staircase leading down, with a corpse on it (take it with you).
At the buttom of the stairs a pagan guard is patrolling so drop the corpse, and knock him out. Proceed down the tunnel to the very end and enter the opening on the right. Creep forward as there is a Ent patrolling the altar, which you must take out either by a mine or firearrow. After that shoot a water arrow to the left of the altar, moss to the right and drop the corpse you came with in the center.
Hereby you get The Paw.

If you are careful, you can kill the ent just by backstabbing it.

I think there's a bug here. The first time I played it, I put the body down after shooting the water arrow and then shot the moss arrow and was able to get the paw. Now... I tried it another way due to someone elses complaint. I shot the moss arrow and water arrow first. The tree opened up to the paw twice of course. But... the entire alter was covered with moss and the body did not work. Does this have something to do with the moss being an object in the game and your trying to throw an object on top of that which in-turn prevents the tree from opening up completely? If this isn't a known bug, it may be worth looking into.
