Yes. He should definitely get a puppy. And start wearing overalls all the time. And calling himself "Doc". And so should you.

Geez! I just can't figure you out, Doc. First you tell me I should stimulate the economy by buying a better dog, then you tell me I already AM a dog. Well, I guess anything's possible.
But at any rate, I've given your question a lot of careful thought, and have concluded that he should NOT get a puppy. A dog, especially a very young dog, is a tremendous responsibility. They require time and care, and his lifestyle is way too chaotic and unstable. What he needs is a pet chimpanzee. A really smart one that he could train to accompany and assist him in his circumnabulations. He could teach it to fire Uzis and rocket launchers, ride a motorcycle, and wear a black suit and shades like Tommy Lee Jones in Men in Black. He could even teach it to heat up Hotpockets and Poptarts and stuff in the microwave when he got hungry.
What do you say? I say we go for it, Doc. It's times like these you gotta remember that life is like a box of chocolates. No, that's wrong. Actually, it's like a bathtub full of cold monkey snot. You just gotta roll up them overalls and wade on in , Doc. Take my advice, you'll be glad you did.
