No Sound on Main Menu or In Game

Strange problem. When I start the game the sound is fine(intro movies and so on) but when I get to the main menu there is no sound. Also, once I start a game there is no sound. Coincidentally, the only other game I have experienced this exact same problem is Deus Ex Invisible War.

I have Soundblaster Audigy 2 with the latest drivers. Anyone else have this problem? I would really appreciate any help because I am dying to play this game. I dont want to have to return it like I did Deus Ex. TIA.

Do you have the sound hardware mixing turned on (in the options menu)? Try turning it off. If you get buzzing or stuttering in your sound afterwards, then check out the post "serious sound issues" on this forum.

Thanks for your reply tootired. Ive tried it with every possible in game sound combination.
