St. Edgar's Eve - Getting into Church

Ok - for the life of me, i can't figure out how to get in the church. I'm right infront of hte big double doors, with the blue hyroglyph. Iv'e tried jumping on boxes, climbing ledges, can never figure it out. Any know where i have to go?

*ALSO* i have a bunch of "items" on me, including keys, velvet pouches, etc. How do i use these? I see them show up as "items" (i.e.// as an option on the gear screen), but i don't believe i can use them. CAn i?

Right click the blue symbol...

Okay... just something obvious you've missed. Activating the glyph will let you enter the Church. These glyphs will function in this way for pretty much the rest of the game. Some of them will open up new rooms, but most of them function as entrances to levels/sections of the city.

If I right click on the "glyph" I get a story from Garrett about those inside and how I am going to rip them off. I don't get inside. Ofcourse if I left click...........well......I club the door and no body answers. He he. In one walkthrough (Garrett's Notebook) I am told to get a key from a guard but not go in the front. Rather I climb a box, then a pipe, and these lead me to a balcony. In a strategy book at a store I am told that I do go in the front door with the key I get from the guard. Not one of these scenarios works so far. I am frustrated and a little bored creeping around the streets, pilfering folks when the serious booty awaits me in the church. So..........HOW DO I GET INTO ST. EDWARD'S CHURCH ???????? Tell me if you find out.

I found out :) And now i feel like an idiot.

Right click on the door Malphal, and then click "start" (on that screen that pops up).

The spoilder you listed is what happens next - i.e.// after you click start, you can go through the front door, OR go up those pipes.
