cant turn off the clock..

Ok .. I have been searching the forum for help.. I have been going nuts trying to turn off the clock in the clocktower.

I read the thread re: the steam resets if you arent quick enough..

but no matter how many times I stop the steam and the coal.. Garret still cant turn off that clock!!

I'm sorry if this is an old topic. but please help.. been messing w this for sooo long

After you turn off the steam then turn up the coal, go downstairs into the furnace area and hit the switch for the furnace. That should do the job.

Misty i thank you very much for the reply.. I just turned off the steam... the coal and tried again... garret says.. 'not enough.. i need to stop this thing for good..."

did you say... turn the steam off and the coal "ON".. i tried that too.. i think that mage guy near the steam is turning it back on the minute I leave the room...
am I the only one who has had this problem?
