Need some tech help

I have a good game laptop in addition to my desktop computer and i'd like to move my save games from my desktop over to the laptop via email, but I cannot seem to find the files for the saved games. Does anybody know where these are?

Also, how do I turn off low detail textures? Please don't tell me they're somewhere obvious like... I donno... the options menu ;)

The save game files ar located in your My Documents directory.

The low details is, indeed, in the options. You need to scroll down on the main screen; I think it's named "A/V" but don't have the game up to check ATM.
