Is there a tweak that makes your louder? The game is way too easy.

I tried upping the difficulty in the default.ini by making their vision and ears better but I must be crazy because it didn't seem to change anything. Is there a bug with this?


I can literally run up behind someone and blackjack them before they "ready" themselves.

I'm using the thiefy movement tweak as well, maybe that changed something?

on most surfaces, if you run up behind them they'll be at alert 1 (you can still thump em) when you nail them. It IS a little too easy. I remember in thief2 I had to get good and crouch, crouch crouch, hold up black jack, run speed, jump, come down THUMP.

in TDS you just run up and whack. works 90% of the time unless you're on tile or metal.

There's gotta be a way to tweak the AI to change this.

I don't know enough about software to go into a game file and start fiddling with it. I'd need step by step instructions. Well one can hope that if they come out with an editor, it will be possible to make the guards much smarter.

yes it is a bit more wierd

you let a bad guy see you you fight him a bit then run... he says OK you got away this time(pretty much saying go ahead and loot away!)
