Artifacts question *DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU FINISHED THE GAME*

So I finished the game on Expert with all the loot and listened to The Eye (Nice to bring the creepy Eye voice back) whisper little sentences at me, but after the ending cinematic and the credits rolled, I see there's a voice actor or something for The Heart, is it supposed to say anything at some point?

Yeah, i saw that credit too and wondered about it. Also, was the voice of the eye supposed to be constantine/trickster from thief 1? if so, a note in gamall's library said the artifacts were created/infused by 5 keepers. Was constantine an ancient keeper?

I don't think so. It did not sound anything like him I thought.

Constantine was never a Keeper, heck, the artifacts' creation predates those events by a long period.

hmm, i just wondered why he talks through the eye, i'm fairly sure its him cos he mentions 'he may come back for your other eye' :D but the artifacts are supposed to be controlled by the keepers in them.

I'm sorry, why do you think Constantine was the same as the eye? There have been nothing in the games that imply that.

And the Keepers are not somehow embeded in the relics or controlling them directly, they just created them with wills of their own and shaped that will to resist all being collected in one spot...at least until the right moment.

I'm just confused that why when the eye talks to you a few times, it seems to be about stuff related to the goings on in thief 1 as if from the trickster's point of veiw.

And when the notes in the game talk about the creating of the artifacts, it said that 5 keepers made the 'ultimate sacrifice' or something similar - which i'm taking to mean they killed themselves to tranfer their conciousness/power to the artifacts to enable them some control over when they are collected. The eye also mentions that 'the others are to weak to talk' implying there is some measure of conciousness in the rest, i just want to know why the eye is stronger in this regard.

I missed the text because I was keeping busy watching the hag but could easily replay the very fun final city day.

I put the artifacts in order they appear in the objectives, The Eye last because it's always fun to lug around a conscious little entity, and in the last area (South Quarter) where you need to put it, he mentions something about why he can speak and the others can't.
