I think this game is great! Your first error is to compare it with Thief 1 and 2. Those 2 are golden and had their era. We're now 4 years down the line on a new log a different engine. Not the best engine, but still. People should just accept it for what it is and be happy that another Thief even came out. I still remember those days when Thief 3 was just a rumor and they only had 3 in game screenshots of a few rooms with furniture. Now here I am almost at the end of the game enjoying the venture.
So far I love the graphics, Garrett looks so freaking sexy when his back is turned to a window with light shinning through. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. That blue moon effect look so damn sexy! Couldnt get that effect in Thief 1 and 2. There are a few things that I had to get use to such as not having rope arrows and not being able to swim but still since I know that the dev team couldnt get those things to work in the game I forgive them and say its ok. Thanks for bringing Garrett back to life. I even jumped a few times while playing the game bringing back that Thief 1 zombie feel. :D Give us a SDK and we tweak TDS to our own liking.
