When I play the demo at various points it will Lock-Up. The display is clear, but stalled. If it happens during some background sound effects, there is a loop of that sound.
Usually after about 10 secs it unlocks, but usually about the third time it locks up the screen goes black and I have to reboot my computer.
I have all the latest video and sound drivers and my cards are supported. I don't get booted to the desktop like I've seen in other threads, just Lock-ups.
I have a PIV 2.23GHz w/ 500MB RDRAM w/ a 128MB GeForce 4 Ti4600 (56.72 driver) w/ a Creative SB Live! Value sound card (5.12.2.2252 driver).
I tried rolling back my sound driver, but didn't help. I want to buy this game, but if the demo doesn't work I am not confident that the regular game will!
Any suggestions?
