In the first part right downstairs...or should I say ladders there is a room down a hall to the right. I picked the lock to the hall or I could hav e jumped through the window by a desk containg some scematics. In this room there is a bald man and a note containg a gripe about the proper time for prayer. I just want to inform as to where the bug is. In the back of the room there is a trunk to the left of a bed I had to pick. Here lies the problem. I cant get the loot unless I jump in the trunk then I couldnt get out. I bumed big time because I hadent saved since the start of the mission. So be warned.
Ok..is is just very hard to get..I had to keep jumping up and down the side until I could grab it..why did they put legs on this crate ??

It's because the loot in there is a belt pouch and the grab/target distance for belt pouches is a lot closer than for other items. I assume that's to make picking them off of peoples belts more dangerous. And where they positioned it in the chest is out of your reach because of that. If it was anything else you could reach it. BTW, in case you're trying to get 100% loot and want that pouch...you only get stuck if you crouch/duck while in the chest. At least that's how it worked for me (several times). As long as you stay standing you can position yourself and jump back out. If you crouch you can't uncrouch.
It's still a bug though. :)

Ahh yea, I just did that... twice actualy. Pissed me off cause I kept crouching haha. Bad habbit there. I think the AI should be MORE sensitive about pickpockets if the distance is that short... I've pickpocketed guards no problem without even walking sometimes. They just complain about hearing stuff.

The same thing happened to me several times. Also, in the same area, Garrett started to float around (not while I was stuck in the chest) He just glided when I moved instead of his animations cycling.
