ATI Cats 4.4 fixes 4.5 flickering lights...

Just wanted to let the ATI users out there know this. I duplicated it twice on my machine to make sure.

I currently have the Catalyst 4.5 drivers.... does this mean that I should definitely downgrade my drivers to the 4.4 ?

Should I try running Thief 3 first and see how it works before I do this ?

Yepper! went down from 4.5's to 4.4's and all the Nasty lighting Probs are gone....Just moved up from a Siluro Ti4600, to a 9800 Pro 128, was damn near ready to Gank the Siluro outta my kids PC and swap it back to mine just to run T3 =)

While i'm on the subject, the Digital Vibrance option for GF cards was one of the best features of my Siluro....is there a Hack of some kind to get the same results on an ATI card? (Doubt it, but thought i'd ask) i've tweaked with the Color settings six eays to sunday, and it just don't look as, well, colorful as the Siluro.

P.S. TheTerminator, If it were me, and I had the 4.5's in...Hell yeah....test it out first, if the Shadows are Pooched "THEN" downgrade to the 4.4's....from what i'm seeing, ATI like to "patch to fit" as it were, instead of blanket compatibilty. So i would assume there will be a new cat release soon?

OK, Thanks for the advice XBonez. I will definitely try out the game before I downgrade my drivers to 4.4.... you never know, it might not affect everyone.
