The time has come, the trilogy continues...
We have been through so much together, Garret and I. Remembering what now seems like a lifetime ago, the impact the thief series has had. The thief series isn't just a game; it's a story, a novel. It's a book you just can't put down. I can still remember how bad I felt when Garrett lost his eye. And how my heart was pounding with the haunting sounds of the ghost with chains getting closer and closer, Lets not forget the most important aspect, the cobblestone castles. They were beautiful. The secret doorways, the marble floors. Listening to the guards footsteps as he's going on about how I'm not going to get away (guess I should have used that moss arrow).

Once again, the time is here. Time to turn out all the lights, light a candle to put on my desk. Get out the headphones that have been in my drawyer since thief 2. And turn down the brightness on the monitor (the only true way to play thief).

I take this game way too serious, but like I said, it's not just a game....

I share your rejoice for the game my friend. I always said, if I could snap my fingers and transform my city into a Thief City, I would be a happy happy man :) There truely is something about jumping into a world of someone else's creation. Most importantly, being able to jump into that world and making it our own!

Happy Thieving!

dang it, got a rasberry seed stuck in my teeth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG, I am exstatic that the time has come for Thief to return..
My experence with thief was a great impact on me..my s10 broke down in kearny nebraska of all places and had my computer with me becuase I was at a quake 2 lan party in montana..as chevy replaced my trany I was locked up in a hotel for 2 weeks, UGGG..but i had thief 2 there to keep my company all hours of the day and night...OH what fun I had, noone to bother me, a convient store right next to me to get munchies or my beer when needed..and my game of thief..what more could a women want :) So the anticipation of Thief 3 is driving me balistic..

You mean you haven't been playing fan missions since then? Wow, no wonder you're getting antsy!
