Is it DVD only?

I noticed on the official site it says PC/DVD-ROM. Does this mean it won't be released on CD?

The Thief - Deadly Shadows site says PC CD-ROM at the bottom of the page. Not sure what site you're lookin at.

So, no. Actually getting games on DVD is still a rare thing. Next year or so maybe it'll start being more common.

Sometimes games comes out in both a CD and DVD version like Deus Ex had a DVD version out after the CD version was released with better audio quality.

What about TOCA Race Driver 2, that is a DVD only release?

The european version of T: DS is DVD only.

It will be only a 2 or 3 cd game.
