Question about disguises

I like much more the way disguises are handled in Contracts than in SA, but I'm still having some things that I cannot understand.

For example:

- I'm going to kill a guy but he sees me first, and I get the message that says: - Your cover has been blown! (or something like that) I kill that guy. Nobody else is in the room.

- I move through the map to a different a place, and as soon as I find somebody, they start to fire at me.

Is this normal?

In H1 I remember that if somebody discovers me but I kill him after that, as long as nobody else can see me, they won't do anything when they see me.

Yes, that's normal. Once your cover is blown, the game seems to treat the disguise as useless from that point. Unrealistic, I admit, if no one else knows it, but that's the way it is.

When my cover is blown, I find that only some guards will see through it for some reason.

wow.. it's so unrealistic!! I don't know why they decided to change that from Hitman 1.

Actually I have replayed H1 SO MANY times, and I've never replayed H2, and I don't think I will with H3...

If you dont at least check out hitman 2 and 3 you will be making a mistake. give them a try they have been out for a while now and theirs bound to be a cheap used version. give them a chance

Well if u use a non-silencer they will hear :P :D! If u use a silencer and your cover is blown i believe they hav ear-pieces i guess. and that different 4 me because when i kill a guard and my cover is blown i change to the guards cloths then back to mine then i kill a civilian and hide his body and change in to his...and im never caught.

I think the earpieces thing is correct...Ive just started playing the game (have not played H1 or H2), and I was wearing a guard's outfit when another found me and began shooting..he radioed that he was engaging the enemy..I could hear him while wearing the guard clothing.

When you cover is blown, only the ones that blew your cover know that you are not who you appear to be. Thats when you 'cover is blown'. Then they will eventually tell others or others come and see u shooting or whatever and u'll also blow your cover to them too. I think the guards or whoever tells someone or word spreads and thats when the warning is "Guards are looking for a suspicions blah blah blah person" and thats when your disguise is useless to all the guards.
