Is your version fully patched.. My original BEL disk was smashed so i bought a new version which was re-released with drivers that worked on new computers. they may be of some help...

Is it BEL or BCOD you are trying to get to work?

I had this problem too when I was modding the game like a mad man. :D
I had to completely remove the game, reboot the pc and then reinstall.
