i completely forgot you had a choice of who to play as in the beginning of the game, a different post made me remeber. anyways, how different is the story line if you play as the other character?? i played as Alex, is it worth going through again and playing as the female character (sorry, i forget who, is it billie?)

the female character is also called Alex, since alex is both a male and female name.
There are really no differences in conversation at all. Except when you jump up and down it's a female voice panting and it's a female voice when you talk to people. The penthouse owner still says "let's get it on", which is what he says anyways if you were male. so really nothing special.

That's not true. There's a totally different conversation with the Minister of Culture and Lionel if you're a female. You get the whole story if you're female, but if you're male you're given a lie. Another change is the coffee shop owner living in the Heron's Loft: if you're female he gets nervous about his girlfriend coming over soon and doesn't want you to be there when she arrives.
There a several differences in dialogue, but not enough to entertain if you only replay to see the differences. I prefer playing as the female Alex anyway.

Yes the Minister of Culture is a flaming homosexual. He does snub you when you are playing the female lead. :)
