Its looking like they are getting close... It's up on the US Eidos site. An 'M' might mean they are getting ready for it to go gold... rock on!

Yeah is close. Here's my own personal update on the "When Are We Gonna Get the Game" question.
Conventional Wisdom:
Ship date of May 25, 04
Release date of May 26, 04
But the Sneaky Tea Leaves say that the above is a bit Optoemystic!
The Sneaky Tea Leaves Say:
We will have it the first week in June 04 or somewhere thereabouts! ;)
Of course that is barring anything unforeseen! :)
The above information is Stolen. Use it at your own Risk. The Sneaky Tea Leaves are not responsible or Liable for any damages whether physical, emotional, psychological, metaphysical, monetary, imagined, self inflicted, made up, or fraudulently ensconced upon the world at large or any other way a creative individual might construe damages, based on the above information. We also are firmly aware that we spell Optoemystic here in Texas a bit different than the rest of you. Deal with it! :D

A release date of Summer is cutting it damn close to summer rather then Spring. Summer is supposed to be when Half-Life 2 is going to be released, so if Ion Storm really does want Thief 3 to be a big success, releasing it in the same timeframe as HL2 isn't a smart move...
Then again, the chances of HL2 actually coming out when Vivendi says it will are like the chances of Garrett shaving his head and becoming a monk :)

I am of the opinion that Thief DS will be a big success whatever its release date, and other new games released at the same time won't make a difference.
Aaaaah, such is my devoted faith (and obsession) with the Thief series!! :)

I really hope it will be. Hell, if it was a toss up of getting Half-Life 2 of Thief 3, Deadly Shadows would be loaded on my PC faster then you can say Markham's Isle. Also, from what I've read and the people I've talked to, there's a lot more buzz around T3 then the previous games.

Ahh... the sun is shining, the summer heat turning up, and all us weirdos are crouched inside, curtains drawn, sneaking in the dark... could there be a better time for it?
