Stuck on Lee hong mission....is this a bug? *Spoiler*

Okay I went into the restaraunt basement and talked to the agent and freed him. (wearing the chefs clothes) I then go into the kitchen (there is an ! on the map there) and one of the chefs tells me to take the soup to hong before it gets cold. There is a bowl on the table but I get no intereaction to pick it up. I run all over the room clicking on everything and no interation menu pops up. Even reloaded and restarted just to check and nothing.

Anyone else have this problem? Do I need to find the poison first?

Yep.
Once you have found that, there will be a new action option for the soup.

heres what you do when hes sitting down for dinner u get the sniper rifle suitcase in the basement take it up to the balcony on the second floor open shoot and run to the latter on the balcony to escape

No no no, don't listen to these guys. After you've rescued the CIA guy and Mei Ling go to the BAR dressed as the chef and take the laxitive on the shelf behind the bar when the bartender's not looking. When you go to the kitchen you'll have the option of poisoning the soup. Lee Hong's bodyguard taste-tests everything, so when he tries this he runs to the bathroom and you can wirekill you're target with absolutly no detection. If you stand behind him he won't even turn around. Now I just need to know how to get to the safe undetected from here....

yeah that's exactly what I ended up doing. I found the laxative like 5 minutes after I posted this.

To get to the safe, just keep your chef outfit on. that's what I did. got a SA rating no sweat.

I just freed the CIA agent (after getting a Red Dragon off of a dead guard by the dumpsters outside) and then went up to Lee Hong's floor. I then strangled his body guard, assisinated the patrolling guard, and finally strangled Lee Hong himself. I also saw the kitchen but bypassed this option because the CIA agent says that Hong's body guard tastes all the food before it goes to Hong. So I chose this alternative route.
