possible symbolic release date? (5/24/2004)?

howdy, i'm lockepicke, longtime lurker, first time poster.

as the vague-ish "spring 2004" release date draws near, and various sites post release dates bouncing from early may to early july, is there any possibility of a symbolic memorium release date?

though its most likely coincidental, you have to admit it would be a nod towards the thief fan base and all former LGS employees.

[For those who dont know, looking glass studios closed its doors on may 24, 2000; oddly enough its also my birthday. and no i'm not demon incarnate; my birth 18 years before the fact did not have any effect on Looking Glass Studios :D ]

I don't think this would be a good release date, it would subcounsiously put an image in our minds of IS dancing on LGS' grave ;)

true. I guess the interpretation of the release would really depend on the quality of the game. (and whether or not eidos/IS/godsthatbe decides to release an editor) :D

our birthdays are close together, mine is may 27. in high school I had two friends that had birthdays close to mine, 26, and 25, now you are 24. Scary..... or maybe not.
