Ok, I haven't asked for any help with Saudia Arabia yet, Just found a couple (not too many) hints from other threads. But now I am stuck and confused. I am in the Lab level, I have picked up the grenade gun, killed a couple of bad guys and run through all the doors that open. It seems that I need 2 fuses to open one door and a key to open another, and I am puzzled by a room which has a "mirror" effect - you run across the room, safely, then open a door, and set off the floor trap. I can get out of the room but not achieve anything. What do I need to do???
BTW the dark dongeon (love the spelling) level was just GREAT! techno music and millions of skeletons. Fantastic.

Yep, Dark Dungeon was my fave level too there.

There may be diferences between the old and remastered version here (not sure). I got my key to the secret room from a baddie i killed there. In the exit from the first mirror room (there'll be another for the yellow fuse), I saw a hidden room behind a TV. There should be a switch. Then when you get to the 5-switch room (or was it 6?), the solitary switch on th left is for a timed secret room. Figure out the rest to make one pool safe, and flood a couple more pools thereafter.

Drew (and anyone else out there!!) I am still stuck, the room I am in is the same mirror room, I run across it and nothing happens until I get into the alcove in front of a door that doesn't open, then it sets the trap and certain places on the floor become fire traps. A side door opens... but it just takes me back where I have already been? The answer must be something in this room, but there are no hidden switches that I could see. And no TVs, so I wonder if we are talking about the same room. I am off on holiday for a week, but I will have to try again when I get back!:( :o

I'm stuck there also...
It seems to be a mirror room, and I am supposed to jump only on the corresponding squares with a pattern, which releases the smoke when treaded. If you make a mistake, then you have to do it afresh by opening the side door, and re-entering. I've done that several times, without stepping on any of the wrong ones, but the door on the other side never opens...

Could it be a bug?

I see a pattern here, since I have this "bug" yellow fuse, could it be blocking me getting to that yellow fuse room?
I had a similer problem at dark dongeon - played both old and remastered version, but can never get the second red gem beacuse I already had that as a bug.

HELP!

Quaver, i'm not sure but it could be. Since as you said, you used the old savegames (from the 'ol version) even if you're now playing the remastered copy. Hmmm...but the yellow fuse is not in that room. There's still another mirror room further. All i remember doing in this part (and on) was a switch behind a TV in an office you drop to from a crawlspace. I may be wrong on how to get to the office but i'm sure of a part like so.

Thanks Drew, after trying jumping the squares for I don't know how many times, by freak accident, the door opened! So I'm on my way now!

That's the trick to the mirror room - look at the squares in the mirror, (after floor activation) and jump to the ones that won't burn you...

Thanks JunoJIm & Drew.

Just to set the records straight, the bug I was talking about earlier at Dark Dongeon was not a bug, Mike told me how to get the gem yesterday.

I'm back from a brief visit up to stay with the inlaws. Now I can get back to a bit of serious raiding. I worked out that mirror room puzzle - the secret was to JUMP into the room onto the first square that appears in the mirrors... whatever. I also pressed that button behind the t.v.
Now I am at a puzzle with levers and pools of liquid. Will see what happens with different lever combinations.

OK I got that bit all worked out without too many problems, but now I am stuck again. I opened the door with the blue and yellow fuses, and now I am in a room with a couple of water monsters behind glass and two "protocreature" Laras from TR1. I killed a few guards and got an ID card... but I have no idea where to use it??? Heeeeelp!

At the far end of that room, there's a grate at the ceiling where you can jump up and open.

yup...and soon be prepared for one difficult maneuver --- sliding-shooting-holstering-jumping grab! Geesh! you'll know.

yes, I found the grate, opened it and went up there - in that room there is a closed blue door with one of the TR3 artifacts, and a set of double sliding doors, with a guard behind them. None of these doors open and I still can't see anywhere to put the ID card I picked up?????????????
 :(

Have you tried moving the control panel? You should be able to pull/push it next to the door, like the other one.

this sounds like good advice - but which control panel and which door??? IN the room I have climbed up into (with the TR3 artifact behind a blue coloured door)???:(

oh THAT one... no I hadn't thought of that!

and now I am onto the rooftop...

That tricky jump that Drew (I think) mentioned - with forewarning, admittedly - it only took 2 attempts to make it. No problemo!

OK I breezed through the rooftop level - the guns were a little tricky and I almost ran out of revolver ammo but ultimately all went ok. Thanks to Drew (as always) and particularly quaver this time :D :) :D for all the help. Saudi arabia was good - especially dark dongeon - but not up to the high standards of Hidden Garden. Still, well worth the effort. What's next? I downloaded "Tomb of Qualopec", "Strange World". Is "The Rescue" series worth a go?

I've just started the rescue. There's 11 levels. And there's a walkthrough!
