Poor Sound

My game seems to have very poor sound quality - in game there is a constant fuzzy sound in the background which I am sure is not meant to be there, and the sound in the game seems generally bad and of poor quality.

I am wondering whether I am just overreacting - does anyone else have a constant fuzz in the background when things seem like they should be quiet?

I have a VideoLogic Sonicfury sound card, and so far it has not let me down, can anyone help me with this!!?

I'll bet they ask you for your dxdiag and tell you to go update your sound drivers :)

I use an Audigy 2 ZS and the sound is amazing. You can pick one up for about 70 bucks now (OEM).

It will be either your souncard drivers or MOBO drivers that need updating.

The other problem is the age of the sonicfury. I'm not even convinced there ARE up to date drivers for this card....
