I sent you a saved Trier game file. Hope it works, as I don't know anything about the way DE2 IW saves work. I tried loading the save game by associating it with the DE executable, but all it did was put up a load screen, but maybe it works if put in the right folder and run from ingame.
Also, I don't know which one it is, the crazy way the files are labeled. It could be from the first visit at Trier or later in the game.

Hmmm? All my saves work within the game. I just copied it out of the "Save Games" folder in the "My Documents" directory.
Sorry it didn't work for you, but maybe I didn't do something right, because I doubt any of the files should be corrupt as they all work for me.
Maybe someone else on here knows what is wrong and what the correct file is and procedured for transferring them. Usually, I have no problem transferring save files as I always back up my files on my D: drive in case of a hard drive crash.
In the case of DX IW I just copied the whole Saves folder every time, but it is a huge folder right now with all the saves in it: 243MBs. I did notice that there is a "User.ini" file inside the "Game Saves" folder along with the Saves in it's own folder. Maybe there is something within the .ini file that has to correspond to the Saves that are in that folder.
Just wish I could have helped you out, but the IW save system is confusing how it works for me. It is the first one I seen that saves in the "My Documents" directory instead of it's own Main directory or System sub directory.

I've got saved games from before every airflight, with no biomods installed (except level 1 Move Silent). I'd be happy to send one when necessary. That way you can choose your own biomods. However -- where are the saved game files (PC version)? And will the names of the files make it obvious which save it is? And would they work for the XBox version?

1. You'll find all of the saves in your My Documents folder, the rest should be obvious as the next folder is Deus Ex Invisible War or something like that.
2. The names are not obvious.
3. They will not be compatable with an x-box.
4. Send your saves to martin_p_carrie@hotmail.com ;).
