does anyone else think this is a totally useless question?

you die, and it says: Ternimate Lifesigns? with a check box.

besides the fact that there is one option so it's hardly a question, and the fact that your already dead, making it a stupid question, pratically, it shouldnt be there.

what do i mean?

how about this:
load game?
yes
no

woulndt that make more sence? isnt that what most people would want to do when they are killed - load up a saved game?
why send us right back to the title screen so we have to go through the menus again. why not just let us load a game there and then??????

this is one of my big complains about many game. it's unbelieveable how many games send you back to the title screen, often accompanied by un-skipable logos and such, before we can get back to where we can load our game.
it's in these sort of games that i try to pause my game as soon as i realises i'm about to die, just so i can load a game quickly and not have to go back from the title.

the worst part about DX2 though is that we have to skip though the logos, wait for the main menu to load, select our game, and then wait for it to load.

simple: load game? > yes, (select the game you want to load), then wait for it to load - see only one bit of waiting. quick and efficient

this should be changed in the next patch in my oppinion - along with the ability to name you saves, but that's another story...

You're right but it actually says 'Terminal Life Signs' and has a check box to make sure you are aware you ard dead, not out cold or something.;)

terminal eh?

well, that's what you get for not reading carfully enough, but the rest of the post is the important part.

Agreed. Not having a load option there is damned silly and clearly a remenant of its console heritage (read: port).
