One thing that would make the game more finetuned, in my opinion, is blood from victims in the sense that it creates tracks (instead of just a pool at the spot he was shot) if you just shot/cutthroated someone and is dragging him away. It would make a greater incentive to use the fibre-wire or other strangulation weapons or anaesthetic instead of the quicker slash-dump-drag of knives.
It would balance it more and make the pro's and con's of the different styles more acute and accentuated.
If you're in a hurry, grab that combat knife and get done with it, if you want to be more 'responsible', use strangulation. Quick and messy, or slow and clean. :)
I think regardless of the amount of realism IO wants to put in the game, little or more, this effect would serve a logical use strictly gameplay-wise and if you will, realism-wise.
