One thing that would make the game more finetuned, in my opinion, is blood from victims in the sense that it creates tracks (instead of just a pool at the spot he was shot) if you just shot/cutthroated someone and is dragging him away. It would make a greater incentive to use the fibre-wire or other strangulation weapons or anaesthetic instead of the quicker slash-dump-drag of knives.
It would balance it more and make the pro's and con's of the different styles more acute and accentuated.
If you're in a hurry, grab that combat knife and get done with it, if you want to be more 'responsible', use strangulation. Quick and messy, or slow and clean. :)

I think regardless of the amount of realism IO wants to put in the game, little or more, this effect would serve a logical use strictly gameplay-wise and if you will, realism-wise.

Yeah that the blood drops or puddles of blood can be noticed by guards..yeah..kinda like in MGS2 on PS2.

I do remember seeing a screenshot of two dead bodies and a blood trail there, looked very slick.

i hope they make blood trails, cuz i would like spell my name in the blood, or write messages to the person im susposed to kill with one of his guard's blood,

and they need more blood for headshots, not as much as metal gear solid 2, but a nice cloud and spatter would be rewarding

Also the bulletholes when you hit enemies...those bulletholes were awesome in Hitman 1.

And i REALLY hope when you shot guards down that they finally have implemented a decent death animation.

Hmm, yes, but death animations are kind of out these days. Ragdoll is the way to go now. But sure, finetuning that wouldn't harm. Better is always better. :)
