can someone please help. i am unable to uninstall DE/IW on my system. every time i try, i get the error code 6003. anyone have any ideas?

Run the uninstall from the CD. The hard-drive shortcut is fubar

tried that already. that doesn't work either.

Hmmm... somone else had this problem. Got round it by doing what I suggested above.

If this does not work it may be time to delete the install and take a hacksaw to your registry (AFTER backing it up of course;) )

Other than that you may be stuck

got it finally. was trying to use the uninstaller exe from exploring the disc which wasn't working. thx

EDIT: Nevermind. I figured it out. The game will not uninstall from my CDROM drive. I had to use my DVDROM drive. Some silly copy protection crap most likely. I remembered that the game would not install from my CDROM drive. I'm guessing because my DVD drive is master and the CDROM drive is the slave. Anyway if anyone else has this problem I hope this helps.

NEW EDIT: While I was able to remove Invisible War I ran into a problem right after. I have no idea how or why this happened but after I uninstalled Invisible War I could no longer get Theif-Deadly Shadows to start up. I was forced to uninstall Theif 3 and reinstall it. Just a word of caution for anyone else that happens to be playing Theif 3.


I can't get this game to uninstall no matter what I try. I tried the uninstall option from the Deus Ex program menu. It said Setup.exe was missing. I tried putting in the install CD and choosing uninstall from the menu and I got this error:

How in the world do I get this game off my hard drive without digging into the registry? This is crazy.
