I heard that the movie producers blamed AOD wasn't selling well, and that's teh reason (its influence) for their movie's lack of success.

As for the lac of interest in the movie i think after the first effort everyone expected more of the same and quite frankly they got it. As to AOD being a measure to its glumb receipts, well it must have generated some interest you would think .
