not two souls in the reaver

There is a paradox about both versions of Raziel(person and wraith blade) being in the Reaver at the same time.That would mean that when Kain broke the Reaver upon striking Raziel,apart from the wraith blade another Raziel should have jumped out!Apparently that didn't hapen so there is the paradox:there would be a neverending circle where in every turn another version of Raziel would be traped inside the Reaver so there would be infinite Raziels inside the blade!The only solution to this is,if at some point Raziel gets freed!So Raziel will return:)Actually this is not my theory and i don't recall the thread that i read it,but i found it very interesting and i think that many people skipped it.My guess is that the wraith blade is not Raziel's soul but a weapon forged by the hylden or the elder god.

yeah i see this as somewhat in which i call the mirror effect. Have you ever held a mirror up to another mirror? Its that but with Raziel in the blade, as one's in his arm, and one is him, but he will evntually become the arm of the next raziel, and so forth on.

i thought of that immediately after i finished the game...i was devasted, searching for solutions, a way out of the circle. well, no, there's only one raziel in the reaver.
the wraith blade entered Kain, purifying him, healing him, and raziel entered the blade, then he will become the wraith blade and then he will purify Kain.

the way the "two reavers are together" when the SR is created, is the same way they were together in SR2 when Raziel held the SR.

The WB is within the user, and the SR holds Raziel's soul within, so they kinda "overlap" eachother, but they arent contained in the same place.

the ONE big difference here is that the SR is being influenced by all balance fragments, and the WB has went trough all the forges.

"Two Reavers become one" or something like it. The wraith blade went thru Kain healing him and then merged with Raziel in the Reaver. Simple as that. You people are making this harder than it really is.

Think of it this way, if Kain didn't pull out the Blood Reaver at the end of SR2, where would Raz's wraith blade go to then? Would it just disappear and only Raz would go inside the Reaver? Don't think so, they would have to merge like it was said in Defiance to create the Soul Reaver.

no. the wraith blade is never in the blood reaver, the fact you dont care that much for how things exactly play out doesnt mean everyone else is wrong to be precise.

The wraith blade and raziel cant both become the soul reaver, because that would also mean that the wraith blade that merged with raziel was already a wraithblade merged with raziel, so there would be infinite raziels inside the reaver such paradox couldnt be contained

the wraith blade dissapears into kain before Raziel is absorbed, and heals him, then raziel goes into the blade, and the two project at the same time, it's the same case scenario as in SR2 when Raziel holds the reaver in both visits to the William's Chapel, only the WB is purified by spirit this time and the wraith blade is held by kain.

that's actually a good question, but reavers never merge, something else would have had to happen to the wraith blade.

I thought the wraith blade, as it was the spirit reaver, purified Kain, and Raziel took its place in the reaver sword itself ...i dunno.
