Hey there!
I've recently downloaded the custom level called Rescue 11 but I can't run it. I followed all instructions and noticed that have the uklogo.pak file didn't come with the download. What am I doing wrong?:confused:
He he, you have to play Rescue 1 - 10 before playing the Rescue 11 ;)

Now that is not fair! Then I rather don't play any of them!:mad:
Even if they are Egypt they are VERY good ;)
E-mail the author and ask him for a savgeame at the start of the level or end of level 10, I think he'll understand. But I guess you didn't start The Last Revelation from the Street Bazzar,so... well, I hope you get the point... :)
(and personally I think it's even more unfair from you to start the game from level 11,)

And Tantalus, you gotta understand that this is a series, and a darn good one, or so i heard, as I yet have to play any of them myself. Magplus (Pascal) was kind 'nuff to give me a savegame at the start of 11 but i'd rather play through all of them. There's a walkthrough for all written by Tombaholic (Ted).
The problem with those d/l sites above is that i experienced 99% d/l then stalled. I end up up with corrupt files :( I hope you don't get the same. I got the series from TROnline which i think is up and running now or a temporary mirror site. Ask Magplus.
My present problem is that the d/l have only french.dats
I'm still trying to get the english.dats and scripts for these levels.

As for the levels, well I guess I'd start playing rescue1 if they're so good.:D
Tantalus, as I posted "or so i heard as I haven't played them yet..." , meaning it's hearsay :) and not from my experience yet.
If it's any indication of the series being good --- all of the releases (except for one) are in the top 50 of Mike's review/rate site. And Rescue 11: Hidden Experiment is currently the number one level now.
The releases were are as follow:
Rescue 1-4
Rescue 5
Rescue 6
Rescue 7
Rescue 8-10
Rescue 11
So 6 games to play in all! Each one has a walkthrough. I hope you find them good 'nuff for you :) Lemme know if you start them ahead of me 'coz i'm still testing someone else's level now.

hmm i saw this thread the other day and decided to take a look at it and i dl the first 2 rescue games...ive unzipped them (hopefully in the right way) and i did that thing in level convertor but when i went to go to start a new game i culdnt find the 2 levels. wut do u think i did wrong?

I had the same problem! 99% and stop...... I try this minutes ago with all the files! Only script files work....... now, I'll play Aftermath :D
@TRChik, i cannot help you there as I haven't installed them yet (the files are on standby), but there should be a readme.txt for instructions. If you follow them well --- normally (as in other custom levels) convert the .TOMs to .tr4 files and then put the correct scripts (english.dat and script.dat) in the main trle folder, everything should be well. Rescue 1-4 is one release so you play 4 levels here (and not just two as in your attemp to play the first one).
@Wriggle, yeah it happens :( I got the series from TRO. But you gotta learn french :D nah, if you got the HG series, then you should be able to navigate your way around for the Rescue series. Hope you play them too :)

Magplus, the author, is very helpful like Jon, Psiko, and the rest with their own levels.

The sad news is that Rescue series has a walkthrough and we can't open a thread to ask for help!!!! :( (just kidding :D)

I've played the Rescue series 1-10, and they are very good (read, very tough!). Something I saw near the end of the series that I haven't seen in any other custom levels is the fact that Lara actually has wounds on her body and her clothes are torn. She looks like she's been in a fight! Certainly adds to the realism. By level 10 though, she is healed up and looks the same as usual.

I just downloaded The Rescue 11 (I kept the Rescue series after I had finished 1-10), loaded my last savegame and it worked just fine. Now I've got something to do when I finish SA! (after a short break):D
@Wriggle...well i heard that even with the walkts, we still need to ask some. That tough eh?
@Boo, yea i remember you finishing up on Rescue9 then and posting about a wounded Lara. She was? That's interesting! Well it seems like Wrig and I got a lot of catching up to do. Rescue 11 is well-acclaimed too.
