You just know it's gonna be big fun at work when a document plops on your desk with a final statement like the one below:

I have reviewed this subfunction within my organization and have supplemented the prescribed internal control checklist when warranted by unique local operating conditions. The controls prescribed in this checklist, as amended, are in place and operational for my organization (except for the weaknesses described in the attached plan which includes schedules for correcting the weaknesses).*

(Operating manager’s name and signature block)

*Line through parenthetical phrase if no weaknesses have been discovered.

Whomsoever was responsible for perpetrating the abovementioned documentary excercise in verbosity appears to be a prime candidate for membership of the Campaign for Expediting the Utilisation of Extraneous Additional Redundant Vocabulary Within the Structure of Standard Syntactical and Grammatical Construction of Multi Syllabic Written English Language. :)

That's a mouthful! If i tried to say that much garbage in one sentence at work, I'd be fired for confusing my audience!:p

I'm still trying to figure out what the paragraph says.

Ah! Spoken like a true bueracrat! There's a fine career awaiting you in government service, Nerevar! :D

Parenthetical phrase lining is pending a comprehensive internal review of weakness amelioration scheduling practices and procedures. ;)

And they said, 'This boy's born to be a bureaucrat',
Born to be all obsessive and snotty.
I made my friends and relations, file long applications
To get into my tenth birthday party.

Someone who recognizes this?
