is anyone else a little concerned that IO might be rushing this game? i might be wrong, but didn't hitman2 come about about one year to a year and a half ago? it usually takes studios a little longer to complete a new installment, plus i assume they were spending a lot of their resources inbetween series on freedom fighters. i am just hoping that they aren't "churning out" the hitman games, or releasing them at such a piece to compromise quality.

I heard they were already working on H3 when they had finished H2 so im not really to concerned about a rush job. Plus I dont think they necessarily started from scatch on this game so they had alot of resources they could reuse and just improve on to speed things up. So far the previews ive read have been pretty positive, so hopefully is nothing to worry about :)

I dont think it is getting rushed. Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow was in production after Splinter Cell came out chirstmas 2002. And Ubisoft Montreal was working on Prince of Persia, Rainbow Six 3, and maybe another game. All this going on at the same developement house.
IO only put out one game, Freedom Fighters, after Hitman 2. I think that IO has plenty of resources to work on two projects at once.

I sure hope it isn't getting rushed. I'd rather wait a year than get a horrible hitman 3 game.... then again, considering how well that worked with Deus Ex and Daikatana.......
maybe not....

The people that makes Rainbow Six aren't the Splinter Cell people. I don't know about PoP, but I'm pretty sure they are their own development team also.
And I'm pretty sure there are people at IOI that only worked on Freedom Fighters and doesn't have anything to do with the Hitman series.
I wouldn't call Hitman3 rushed, as they been working on it since Hitman2 was released. And they use the same engine, with some improvements, so it's not like they had to make a new one from scratch.
