since i dont have supercomputer, but celeron 2.2, 256 ram, radeon 9200 (128 ram) i degraded video setings to 640x480, without shadows, and everything on low and expected to play game smoothly, but...
graphics in the game tend to change from bloor to sharper on every move (bloor option is off), every time compter draws another view so it slows down game and makes playing impossible.
p.s. I think it happens in 640x480 only, or maybe not.
