i have the multiplayer patch 1.112fm and the original deux ex version and it just wont work.....it says:



CLass PlayerPawn Member Player problem: Script=1488 C++=1492


History : VerifyClasses <- UGameEngine::LoadMap <-UGameENgine::Init <-XGameEngineExt::Init <-DDeusExGameEngine:: <- InitEngine



so yeah....if anyone could help me that would be great....oh yeah i am runnig it on XP...i dunno if thats the problem...i was reading most of the threads and docs on my computer about the patch and i couldnt find anything like my problem......thank you

its pretty good...i think....its like 2.1 GHz; i think 256 RAM ; and i still have plenty of space on the hard drive. like 30 GB....i dont have a graphics card....and thats about it...thanks

nevermind...i got it.....i was just gonna reinstall it(the patch) and when the patch asks you if u wanna overwrite some files....JUST SAY NO! to everything and u should be ok.....i hope this info helps some1 cause i hav been waiting to play for sometime now

For your general info...I would suggest that you take your booklet regarding the specs on your machine and read it again so you'll know exactly what you've got for future reference. I'm sure at some point you'll need to answer that question again for whatever reason.

I think it's like a...2.1g (what manufacturer?)
You think 256RAM? You should know for sure and what kind?
If you don't have a vid card...then you must have a built-in chip? What kind/who's box is it? Dell/Compaq what?
What have you got for audio? Card/chip?
Motherboard...again what model, etc.?

These are the type of answers ppl will want to know and you need to be able to tell them...OK? :)

Hope your able to get the patch to work but I don't think there's much going on now regarding multiplayer..but there were a few FM's made that do require the patch to be in place. So good luck if you decide to try them out. You'll really need to do some research on how to get them to run inside your game, etc. Ta and Good Hunting!

if you don't know all these specifications, run dxdiag (start menu, execute, "dxdiag") and Copy/paste the result.
