haunted cathedrel

a have been running around that cathedrel for hours throwing thing at that door [ didn,t help ] i listened to the message 100 times still nothing [ i must be deaf or don,t listen ] is there any one that can help me through this delemmer signed lost:(

The EYE tells you to find a grotto with a statue and to light it with fire.

What have you seen (not at the cathedral) that resembles a Keepers grotto.

"Stand ON the symbol..." says the EYE.

Look around, backtrack a bit and scope out the area near where you saw the spider(s).

If you are still stuck come back and we'll give you more info.

It's not all that tricky, but gets a bit more so when you figure out this first puzzle.

BTW you don't get into the cathederal this mission, but later on. :D

i will go back to the game to findthis place , there are two places i saw the spider 1 was the bridge 2 was a court yard which i fell in and couldn,t get out [ in time] thanks cheers peter:D

Actually there are three, you missed one. But the two you mentioned will do.

Thank you Netwave, We do try. With the game being re-released, and the ones included in sound and video cards, we will probably see a few new faces.

Ahhhhh the Haunted Cathedrel - what an amazing mission. One of my favorites. And when the eye speaks....I'll borrow a phrase from Garrett - "Creepy"

tBM, your quotes make me want to play it again. But all those FM's I still want to go through keep me from it.

[ still no good ] i stoud on the island in the middle of the mote with the statue lite still saw nothing like a door or something [ i have not played it for the last week or so :confused:

Once you're standing on the little island, take note of the rest of what the eye said.

Along the lines of:

"Illuminate the statue with fire"

Light up the torches with a fire arrow or two.

Then as your facing the statue...look to your left side and go over that way as a passage way will open up then once inside...you'll have another puzzle to work out :) Good Luck and Good Hunting!
