When I first saw the Hylden "Messiah" in the pictures, the first thing that came to my mind was the Sarafan Lord. After all, I believe he had a flaming sword and a glowing eyes...welll a glowing head really. But that's not important because he's dead, or I guess will be dead in a few centuries. I was just wondering if anyone had figured out exactly where BO2 fit into the timeline. If it is a resutl of LOKDEF, then it would explain how the Hylden could have caputred Janos. Likewise, with Mobious Dead at the bottom of the Spirit Forge, perhaps the execution of Vorador hadn't happened, at least up until that point, which could help explain how he could end up in BO2... Maybe.

Also, at the end of the game I felt as though I was forgetting something or missing something very obvious. Anyone else get that feeling? Yes...no...maybe? Just curious

Good theory on Vorador's appearance in BO2, but I think he was executed before Moebius was summoned to the spirit forge? Anyways, the Sarafan/Hylden Lord was never dead. He didn't get killed in BO2, he was just sent back to the demon dimension. BO2 happens some times after the Defiance events. Janos got possessed, than the Hylden Lord (who possessed Janos) became the Sarafan Lord and seized the young Kain in a battle. Anyways, we know that the Hylden Champion on the mural is raziel/kain both, seeing how they have a hybrid identity.

I don't feel like I missed anything obvious though. I don't know. Play the game again? :p or at least view the Dark Chronicles :D

They are confusing...if your new to the series. To answer your question returned, [COLOR=red]yes, Defiance does cause the events of Blood Omen 2

I'm definitely not new to the series -I've finished all of the games. But they still confuse me from time to time.
