[SPOILER] Kain swimming in next LOK game???

I think in the NEXT LOK game, Kain will be able swim for now on WHY??

Because he absorbed Raziel's soul which means that Kain also absorbed ALL of his 6 Liutentants souls which included Rabab which means that Kain is now able to swim!!!

He didn`t absorb it, the reaver did. It is not the same.

Look at the cutscene carefully. The purified wraith blade goes inside Kain healing him of all corruption, you even see his trademark scar disappear. After this you can clearly see that Raziel is still around even when the wraith blade is gone, Raziel becomes free of it, and then is when he goes into the Blood Reaver and becomes the Soul Reaver.

I think that when they say kain is cleansed of all corruption, that the vampire curse is includedd, therefore, no blood thirst, no sunlight sensitivity, and Kain won't be hurt by water, so he could swim.
That is just my opinion, it has been discussed throughly before.

I feel that the series wouldn't be the same if Kain was removed from his vampiric curse. I believe that the only corruption Kain was relieved from was the corruption that was set By Nuraptor(sp?)

I don't think any corruption was removed from Kain, just the Blade. Furthermore I think purifying the blade only had one or two major purposes:

1. Allowing Kain to see the Elder God -- who is the real enemy behind the plot twists. 2. Allowing Kain to therefore see what truly must be done to remove corruption from Nosgoth.

Each Vampire has always had unique abilities in the LoK series, and even when absorbed by Kain or Raziel -- materialized and utilized in unique ways by the receiver of said gift(s).

and plus I think I'm getting tired of Kain trying to avoid water and I think it's time for him to swim for now on it's just something new for Kain and I don't want the next game that you are trying to avoid water all the time ( think about this what about there is something very important down under a lake or any underwater area and Kain HAS to get it or swim through in order to proceed his journey ( and he can also use the Earth Reaver to walk underwater also if there's a physical puzzel involved in underwater)

I can see where you're coming from considering that water is symbollic for purity and Kain's been purified both physically and spiritually..
But just because he's been cleansed doesn't mean he still isn't a Vampire..but we'll just have to wait and see.

Well, it could be something like Kain collecting 4 more Balance Emblem pieces to represent the 4 remaining Pillars, and maybe the States or Nature emblem protects him from water.

As some of you have stated the wraith blade went into Kain purifing him but it is the wraith blade that was inhenced by the elements such as water there for it is posible Kain will have if not the ability to swim maby a higher tollerence to water.

I find it odd. Kain raises the brothers with portions of his soul. Raz absorbs them and their portion.

Raziel is absorbed by the Blood Reaver and there by the Reaver is a combination of Raziel, and Kain predominantly with the brothers added in. And I thought the paradoxes alone were bad.

I still want Kain to stay the way he is. He has limited immunity. Such things as Rain and snow do not effect him. Mist in prior games gives him mastery of water travel and I wouldn't want it any other way. I never cared much for water travel anyways.
