Yep, this morning my dog, Honey Dew (I also have a cat called Cantalope), got hit by a car. She's in the vet's office and has been since around 7:30am. The vet says she's gonna be alright, so I'm hoping I'll get to see her tomorrow. I feel really bad too because I haven't seen her since last night before I went to sleep and at that time I was yelling at her to stop biting the cat. Hopefully she'll be out soon. Maybe I'll post a pic of the poor thing when she gets home. Whoever hit her had better hope I don't find them.

I'm glad your dog survived, I was scared to read your post after I saw the title. Hope she'll be ok and home soon. :)

I hate it when pets get hurt. Even doggies.
Glad to hear she'll be okay.

Umm, even worse news. The dog died when she was hit yesterday. My parents told me that she was at the vet's and will be ok so it didn't ruin christmas.
She was playing with the neibor's dog and it went out onto the road. She followed it and a car was coming. It swerved to miss the neibors dog (a big black lab) and Honey Dew came out onto the road right in front of the car. The driver of the car went door to door looking for the owner of my dog. The other neibor called and told my mom. The vet said that it happened so fast that Honey Dew couldn't have suffered at all.
I'm starting a petition to have a speed limit on my road today. I'm planning to go to every house on the street and ask for signatures for it. The road has no speed limit so some people drive over 100km/h and there's houses all down both sides.
