Back to desktop on load.... Help!

Before the patch I was able to play the game... Now in 1.0 I get laod screen for 5 minutes and back to desktop with no error, in 1.1 its black screen.... I went back to 1.0 now but the game does not work. With all vertual drives and all that desabled. I tryed no cd same thing but it does not go back to desktop at all.
What ta HELL is this???
Please help....
