View Full Version : Need tech help

Just got SR2 and installed it with no probs. However when I launch it I get a blue screen that fade to black. I hear a voice in the background and I can hear I'm at the main menu when I press arrow keys. All I can see tho is a "portal" of some kind rotating as it is dark grey instead of black.

If I hit enter the game starts up and I can see the cutscene, however when Raziel meets Mobius its all black, can only hear voices.

I have searched the forum, patched the game but cant seem to get this fixed.

Using a 2ghz amd with a GF3, newest drivers from nvidia and directx 9.

Any ideas?

Try this:
run regedit and go to following key:
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Dynamics\Soul Reaver 2\1.00.000

Then double click on DisableVShader and set the option to 1.
